Untitled By Sarah Kehr
Jessica,
You were an angel
Sent from above
With a smile on your face
You symbolized love
Your time here on earth
Impacted us all
But God wants you back
Heaven gave you a call
Always being happy
Never wearing a frown
You made other smile
When they were feeling down
Your unmistakable laugh
Your heart warming smile
You made so many things
In our lives worth while
Life isn’t the same
Because you aren’t here
But in my heart is where
I’ll always hold you dear
If I Had Only Known By Kristy Barnes
As I sit here tonight with memories of you in my mind
I know there will never be another of your kind
I miss you so much, I wish you were still here.
Just to see your smile or hear your voice near
You will never know just how much I love you
For I will never get the chance to tell you, my dear.
Your life was so short and it just wasn’t fair
But, I do know you are being taken care of up there
I still can’t help, but ask God why
I often get angry, because I want it to be a lie
But reality has hit and it’s just not right
For when you were around, I wish I would have held you tight.
Please visit me in my dreams, for it’s so hard to
sleep at night. I don’t even want to turn out the
light. I pray for that night when I see your
beautiful smile, Then I can finally hold you awhile
Don’t worry sweet Jessica your mom and I are fine
We have finally put our differences behind.
For your sudden death has taught us one thing
you never know just what life can bring.
We all know now, a little too late, to never
take for granted what God can take
As I walk into your house, it’s just not the same
Your mom and dad so sad, taking all the blame
I want so badly to take their pain away
But my words won’t come out, I don’t know what to say
Please watch over them and let them know you are ok.
give them the answers they search for everyday.
For you and God have all the answers they need
To help them live the rest of their life’s Journey, we plead.
Let them know, you are in a safe place
Surrounded by love, with that beautiful smile on your face.

As the phone rings
I answer it,
I find a voice so weak on the other end,
They called me to tell me,
My friend is dead,
As the tears run down my cheeks,
As the memories roll through my head,
I want to say good-bye,
But I don’t know how,
I wish you weren’t gone,
But someone ended your life,
I want to say good-bye,
But I don’t want you to be gone,
I love you with all my heart,
Always have,
And always will,
I love you friend,
You will always make me grin
Untitled by Mom And Dad
Nights are so lonely
Days are so long
My hours are filled with emptiness
since you have been gone.
My sweet, sweet girl
who I miss so very much
why did you have to leave me
I long for your touch
I pray everyday that I
could see your smiling face
because I know if I did
my tears would erase
I know your in heaven
waiting for your dad and me
Jesus will take care of you now
Until that time will be
Our hearts are forever broken
To fix it, it’s not worth a try
Please God cover her eyes
so she can’t see us cry
I know you are happy
because of where you are
But know that your Mom & Dad
will someday be there to
protect you forever more
Love,
Mom and Dad
Jessica’s Lyric By Anita Lewis
Jessica was a beautiful wildflower blowing in the wind;
She had an abundance of love fore everyone, family or friends.
She gave of herself of no thought of nothing in return;
Just watching her life in itself is a lesson to be learned.
She taught us empathy because she felt others pain;
Always willing to give of herself no matter how hard the strain.
She taught us joy because she was always full of joy with a smile on her face,
When she was sad, she never showed it, not even a trace.
Most of all she taught us love, I never knew of anyone she was unkind to,
she loved all;
I’m not speaking of things told to me, these are attributes I saw.
Even though her life on Earth was short, she lived life fuller than others;
Some live to be 100 and never truly learn to love their sisters and brothers.
She will truly be missed by family and friends.
But in the game of life, God always wins.
Because he’s got her, and we’ve got her memories to share;
And soon we’ll all be with her in God’s heavenly lair.
From Aunt Vickie
My beautiful sweet niece
I long for your smile.
But it only comes to me in a
Dream once in a while.
I see you there with your hair
blowing in the wind.
Wishing I could reach out and
hold you once again.
Remembering back through all
the great 17 years we had.
My heart is so broken and
deeply sad.
God took you home on that
awful gray day.
He took you by the hand and
led you away.
He left us all here to face
the grief and sorrow.
To go on day by day
dreading tommarow.
No matter how long and far
that we’re apart
The day you wnet home, you took
a piece of my heart.
A piece that is gone and can
never be replaced.
Until I’m beside you in heaven
and can see your smiley face.
So sleep sweet angel in God’s
promise land.
He will hold you and comfort you
and hold your precious hand.
I’m not gonna say goodbye. I’m
Just gonna say I’ll see you later on.
I promise you I will watch over
your mom and dad, till the day
they come home.
There is just one more thing
I want you to know.
That your Aunt Vickie loved you
so.
Smile
Life is a mixture of sunshine and rain,
Laughter and pleasure,
Teardrops and pain.
All day’s can’t be bright, but it’s certainly true;
There was never a cloud the sun didn’t shine through.
So just keep smiling whatever betide you,
secure in the knowledge that my love is always beside you, and you’ll
find when you smile your day will be brighter,
and all of your burdens will seem so much lighter –
for each time you smile you will find it is true,
somebody, somewhere will smile back at you,
and nothing on this Earth can make life more worthwhile
than the sunshine and warmth of a beautiful smile.
